Changing Things Up For Summer
Summer is lovely, but it’s also a pain in the backside.
Whether you’ve got teenagers who are endlessly bored and need constant funding,
Or like me, you’ve got little terrors who need ever more creative ways of being entertained,
Or maybe you don’t have kids at all, and you’re trying to get things done, but you can’t because everyone else has buggered off for the season.
So for this silly season, I thought I’d do something a little different with the podcast.
Instead of my usual weekly show, starting this week, I’m launching my new summer series – Everyone’s Asking.
Six weeks of shorter, more direct episodes answering your biggest questions about mindful drinking and moderation in midlife.
What Is Everyone Asking?
The mini-series launches this week with episode 1, Everyone’s Asking: Is Moderation Really Possible? Starting with the most obvious, but not always easy questions, including:
· Is Moderation Just a Stepping Stone to Sobriety?
· Is Moderation Possible for Everyone?
· Will I Ever Be a Normal Drinker Again?
Then, over the next five weeks, I’ll be jumping into the topics asked about most often:
· What does ‘moderate’ actually look like?
· How do I drink less without giving it up?
· How do I moderate around other people?
· How do I handle setbacks and urges?
· What happens when I change the way I drink?
Who Is It For?
If you’re new to the show, think of the summer series as your quick start guide.
And if you’ve been listening for a while, this will be where we bring it all together for you, into an easy-follow listening series to help you take back the power of choice from alcohol and start your journey to a life less intoxicated.
The summer series is free. Just continue to listen to the podcast as usual and make sure to subscribe or follow so you don’t miss a week.
